We were drawn to the campaign #CierraUNICEF (“End Unicef” in English) due to its simple message that’s aligned to our own philosophy. This project reflects a dream that we strive to make a reality. Here we share with you how we go beyond building houses to improve the society in which we live. At a time of the year when we look back at what we’ve achieved over the year, we invite you to take part in a project that really makes a difference. Lend your support so that children throughout the world can stay healthy and out of danger.
What would happen if the biggest defender of children’s rights ceased to exist? The consequences would be unthinkable. Almost half of all the world’s children still remain unvaccinated and 17 million children suffer malnutrition, destined to die without medication. 28 million children are also the victims of violence with no one to turn to. Wouldn’t it be amazing if UNICEF were no longer needed? That would signify that no children would be in need of help. But the path to ensuring a dignified life for every child is no easy feat.
In 2017 the organization launched a campaign called “End UNICEF” with various initiatives that raise awareness of the plight of the most disadvantaged children. Among these include the upcoming Unicef Gala; a tele marathon to be held in Sevilla on 19th November 2017 from 21:30. Spectators will be able to make a contribution to this much needed fund-raising event which is set to be broadcasted on Canal Sur, TeleMadrid and other TV channels. A host of famous faces will be lending their support, including David Bisbal, Santi Rodríguez, Soraya and Fernando Tejero. We will also hear the emotional experiences from those who travelled in solidarity with UNICEF, including Joaquín Sánchez, Eva González and Sergio Ramos. Included are musical performances from stars such as Rosa López, Sergio Dalma, Carlos Baute, Merche, Antonio José, Tamara, Falete and Blas Cantó.
This year TM Real Estate Group will be sponsoring this project devoted to help the most needy children throughout the world so that they may have access to food, sanitation, education, emergency assistance and also their liberation from the hands of guerrillas who force them into armed conflict.
