27.02.2020 I TM Real Estate Group
The cornerstone-laying ceremony at the new Mar de Pulpí Sports Centre was held on January 8. That was a very special day for us, as we were accompanied by Ángeles Martínez, Councillor for Social Welfare, and Juan Pedro García, Mayor of Pulpí, together with Manuel Fernández Figares, Deputy Director General of TM and José Ramón García, TM Delegate in Almería.
Without a doubt, this project is a huge qualitative leap that consolidates TM Real Estate Group commitment to promoting health, sports and well-being at a destination which is already a major reference in the sports world.
Set for this development is an investment of €1.8 million, and properties are expected to become available to residents and tourists in the last quarter of 2020.
The new Sports Centre is really seeking to consolidate the residential estate as a major sports destination, designed to cover all the needs of both professional and amateur athletes, as well as provide services and amenities to both residents and tourists.
If there’s one thing our Mar de Pulpí residential estate is known for, it’s our specialisation in sports and our long-standing triathlon tradition. Leading events have been held at these facilities in the past, such as the Triathlon Spanish Cup events, concentrations of federated teams, sports campuses with Olympic medallists such as cyclist Carlos Coloma, and popular races such as the traditional Mar de Pulpí Cross-Country.
The Mar de Pulpí Sports Centre will have multisport spaces both indoors and out. There’ll be a gym area of 150m2; a spa area with heated pool and whirlpool sized 57m2; a sauna and treatment room; and outside there’ll be a children’s and adult swimming pool area, heated outdoor swimming pool sized 150m2; a 540m2 beach volleyball court, a running track, high jump, and tennis and paddle courts. In addition to this lineup, there will be a leisure and relaxation area with a cafeteria and social club sized 80m2, a picnic area and landscaped garden areas.
In short, a sports complex for everyone, designed for those who love sport as part of their leisure, and for those who make sport part of their daily professional lives.
