At TM we are committed to a future in which we all have the opportunity to access education and technology; two essential elements for the growth of society.
That is why we continue running “Connect to the Future”, the campaign we launched last year with a twofold objective: boosting the circular economy and raising awareness on recycling whilst providing access to technology to the people who need it.
How do we do it?
We supply computer equipment in perfect condition to various social and educational organisations. In doing so, not only do we promote the reuse of equipment, but we also contribute to reducing the digital divide and the inequalities it entails.
On this occasion, we have teamed up with the Alinur Foundation Growing with Emotions, which aims to protect, uphold rights, and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities by campaigning for their education, training, welfare, and inclusion.
To what extent do computers contribute to this cause?
As UNESCO states, “New technologies can complement, enrich, and transform education.”
For Alinur, as their chairperson notes, “The use of technology in the centre helps to make learning easier and boost and enhance the skills of the boys and girls by using the different programmes.” “By providing this computer equipment, students will be able to engage in IT activities and thus stay up to date at all times.”
