The Group was very happy to be able to contribute to the development of the area, collaborating with an NGO whose project we fell in love with.
This is the Busot Animal Rescue Concern (BARC), a non-profit organisation that aims to offer better lives to stray or abandoned animals from Busot and neighbouring towns.
More than 1000 animals have been rescued in six years
When the organisation rescues an abandoned animal, they check if it has a microchip to find its owner. Unfortunately, 90% of abandoned dogs do not have one, so BARC takes them in, carries out a preliminary examination and finds new homes for them.
In addition, they also help to care for stray cats.
A new animal rescue centre
Due to the high numbers of abandoned animals, Busot Animal Rescue Concern has acquired land to build an Animal Rescue Centre where they can provide the animals with all kinds of care and comfort until they are ready to be re-homed: a vet, spacious areas for them to run around, medication, etc.
At TM we wanted to do our bit by donating to the project with a contribution that will help them develop the initiative they have in hand.

To this effect, our Sales Manager on the Costa Blanca went to the association’s premises to see first-hand what will soon become these animals’ new home.
