TM Grupo Inmobiliario, a leading Alicante-based holding company in the residential, hotel, and responsible vacation tourism sector, specialising in the construction and promotion of homes along the Mediterranean and Caribbean coasts, has organised a new international meeting in Eindhoven, Netherlands. This event, in collaboration with Valencia CF, LALIGA, Sports + Vitality, and Tur España, aimed to discuss the importance of sustainable tourism as a key issue for the present and future of both countries.

This event marks the conclusion of the international tour of events organised by the Alicante holding company, in conjunction with various collaborating companies, across different parts of Europe.

Speakers at this final international meeting included Ignacio Valle, Director of the Spanish Tourism Office in the Netherlands; Andrea Oriol Valls, Delegate of LALIGA Global Network Benelux; Jorge Blay, Head of European Offices at TM Grupo Inmobiliario; Rafael López, Global Business Development Manager at Valencia CF; and Arno Hermans, Co-founder of Sports + Vitality. They addressed the various strategic approaches to sustainability and its application in different sectors.

Ignacio Valle, Director of the Spanish Tourism Office in the Netherlands, highlighted the importance of implementing sustainable models in the tourism sector: “Our role is to promote international tourism to our country from such an important market as the Netherlands. For years, Tur España has been focusing on the sustainability of our tourism model and ensuring that tourist flows help us make our model more sustainable. This event has allowed professionals from different sectors to reflect together on this shared challenge.”

Andrea Oriol, Delegate of LALIGA Global Network Benelux, regarded the international cycle of meetings focused on sustainable tourism as a success: “We have organised several very satisfactory events, and with this final one held in Eindhoven, the commitment of LALIGA, Valencia CF, and TM Grupo Inmobiliario to their international expansion and sustainable development has been demonstrated.”

Rafael López, Global Business Development Manager at Valencia CF, praised the setting of this new international meeting: “For Valencia CF, it has been a pleasure to be part of this event at such an iconic stadium as PSV Eindhoven, as part of the international strategy we are deploying together with our Main Global Partner TM.” López also emphasised that “it is important for key players in the tourism industry to come together in these types of spaces to discuss sustainability and its ability to add value to the tourism industry, linking it to professional football.”

The event also featured Arno Hermans, Co-founder of Sports + Vitality, who highlighted the transformative capacity of sectors such as sports, tourism, entertainment, and construction and their necessary collaboration to promote change and create a more sustainable future: “We are making history together, building a sustainable approach to apply in sports, tourism, and many other sectors, which will make us proud of the future we are creating.”

Lastly, Jorge Blay, Head of European Offices at TM Grupo Inmobiliario, noted: “It has been incredible to see how important the issue of sustainability is to such diverse sectors as tourism, construction, and sports, and the tremendous reception this international tour has received, taking us through Luxembourg, Stockholm, and Eindhoven.”
