The Association of Alicante Family Businesses (AEFA) presented its annual awards in the Guardamar del Segura Cultural Centre in the 24th edition of the ceremony.
TM Real Estate Group won the Generalitat Valenciana Award for its track record as a family business with over 50 years experience in the residential tourism sector and its contribution to the creation of wealth, development, and employment in the province.
Group president, Ángeles Serna, managing director, Pablo Serna, and vice-president, Abel García, received the award from the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig.
The AEFA Awards aim to recognise and highlight the work of family businesses as a driving force in the economy of the province of Alicante. The awards also included the Provincial Council award to Suavinex, the Bankia Award to Brico Aitana, and the Honorary Award to Clemente González Soler of the Alibérico Group.
At the event, which was attended by more than 200 political, business, and financial figures, the AEFA president, Francisco Gómez underlined that “family businesses are the heart and soul of production in our province, they generate wealth, employment, progress, and wellbeing for all of us who live here”.
