The renewal of the agreement signed in 2019 will enable the implementation of several lines of action aimed at facilitating access to housing for families in the area at risk of social exclusion.
TM Real Estate Group, a leading Alicante-based company in the residential tourism sector, specialising in the construction and development of second homes along the Mediterranean and Caribbean coast, and the Pulpí Town Council have renewed their collaboration agreement to continue the Prevention of Residential Exclusion project.
The initiative, which was launched in 2019, consists of a financial contribution to pay rent for families in the municipality who live in a situation of special need or risk of social exclusion.
The President of TM Real Estate Group, Ángeles Serna, and the Mayor of Pulpí, Juan Pedro García Pérez, signed the renewal agreement, which will remain in force until 2024, today at the Town Hall. As stipulated in the agreement, the Town Council will contribute 6,000 euros, while the real estate company will provide 12,000 euros to partially pay the rent for the selected families.
The families benefiting from this project will be selected, as has been the case until now, in accordance with the procedure and scale approved by the Social Services Department of Pulpí Town Council.
“We would like to thank TM Real Estate Group for their involvement in an initiative like this for our municipality, emphasising the social work carried out so that families in Pulpí can benefit from something as important as housing, and in particular the issue of renting, helping them all financially,” said the Mayor of Pulpí, Juan Pedro García.
TM Real Estate Group has operated in Pulpí since 2010 with its residential project “Mar de Pulpí Pueblo Mediterráneo”, currently being consolidated as an attractive destination for European residential tourism, as seen by the thousands of tourists of 30 different nationalities coming for its unique offer of sports and wellness tourism.
“The signing of this agreement is part of TM Real Estate Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility Master Plan and its Social Action focus, as a line of action aimed at facilitating access to housing for the most disadvantaged groups and making a positive contribution to economic and social development in the communities in which it operates”, explained the President of TM Real Estate Group, Ángeles Serna.
